As the Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Resource 1, Anastasia oversees the Technical Recruiting and Human Resources departments. She is involved in the overall strategic planning of Resource 1 and implements long term and short term company goals. Over the last 22 years, Anastasia has been involved in assisting global organizations develop cutting edge technology through identifying and positioning talent. Anastasia also provides human resources consulting services for several Resource 1 clients which encompass strategic management, workforce planning/employment, human resources development, compensation/benefits and employee relations.
- What is your favorite sports team?
Michigan State! Go Green! - At age 5, what was your answer to, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
A brain surgeon. I used to go to the library and read books on it. - Do you have any pets? What are they and their names?
Yes – a Fox Red Labrador named Rango. He is 6 and the cutest dog ever. - What would you do if you won the lottery?
I would go to medical school and donate free medical services for the rest of my life. - What is the last vacation you went on?
Mexico with 8 of my high school friends in March of 2016! - What’s your favorite thing to cook?
Favorite thing to cook is brownies. I have created brownies that are famous around town and will not share the recipe with anyone other than my children. All you need to know is they are made with love and a lot of good candy! - Android or iPhone?
iPhone is my favorite but I never have time to use all of its features. I’m Gen X so we do enough to get by. Siri is just weird to me. - What’s your favorite holiday?
Halloween. My mother was the director of animation for a company so she builds all of these incredible Halloween characters now that she is retired. We all have to go help her manage her Halloween scene and the 800+ trick-or-treaters that show up every year, rain or shine. - If you could learn a new skill what would it be?
I love to play tennis and was taught in summer programming at the park district. I would love to learn the “proper” techniques of the game. Regardless, I play at USTA 4.0 and hold my own. They just call me “street” tennis. I am a figure skater by trade. - What’s your favorite thing about working for Resource 1?
Our team! It’s hard to believe I have seen many of our employees get engaged, married, and have children. They have seen the same with me and I now have a freshman in high school.
